THE DRESS
I loved wearing this dress on my special day. It was soft and had a nice weight to it without being too heavy. So it was very comfortable. It was also easy to move in and fell beautifully so I was never concerned about creases or fluffing it up. It also travelled well and only needed to be hung up with a little steam the night before.

The dress has a bustier bra cup bodice with top stitching detail and a panelled fishtail skirt. It's design means it's very flattering but also very practical i.e. you won't need to step out of it or have someone hold it to go to the bathroom.

The bodice is also boned and tight, with buttons down the back which is a beautiful and practical feature - it makes it easier for the dress to sit right. I was also still very comfortable and able to eat and drink with no concern. I am a size D cup and didn't need to wear a bra as the bodice fit well.

The bottom of the dress floats nicely at floor length and the train can also be bustled up for the reception or there is a loop for you to hold it.

The gown was altered slightly to fit me and I also had an insert into the right cup as I'm slightly uneven. This was hand sewn in by the Karen Willis Holmes seamstress so should be easy to take out i.e. it is not part of the main construction. Also you can't see it from the front.
