The Dress

Bridal Chic F-1412 Ivory lace floor length dress, v-neckline, cap sleeves with a small train and satin 'blush' colour spaghetti-strap under-slip. The back of the dress has a sheer organza/lace V as pictured, satin buttons and then flatteringly drapes down to a lovely train. The lace overdress has a scattering of pearls and discreet sequins, the under bust diamante detail is slightly reminiscent of the 1920s. One picture shows buttons we forgot to do up in our hurry that we soon sorted! The dress was easy to move around in and very comfortable, a hidden wrist strap in the train made movement very easy when the train was carried by the bride later in the day. Worn once. After use the dress was cleaned by the Canberra retailer who it was purchased from, a staff member washes their dresses by hand rather than dry cleaning for a brighter, gentle result. Stored since then in original dress bag away from light/dust in a wardrobe. Smoke free-pet free home. Happy to include matching diamante hairpiece, unused sparkly bangle, fake fur stole and the satin shoes I wore with the dress (shoe size is 6.5 satin shoes, the heels need a little dry cleaning fluid or similar applied to a little soiling as I walked across a lawn at some stage).

I am a slim but curvy size 10, the label size is 12. The under slip was professionally taken in down the sides and the straps were tacked a little shorter and can be let out. The lace over dress - only the shoulders were taken up a little and the hem shortened, my height is approx 167cm. Can put you in contact with the dressmaker who adjusted, she did a wonderful job, is located in Goulburn and also does quality couture gowns from scratch.
