The Dress

This dress was the simple, yet bridal dress of my dreams! The main thing I wanted was backless, and the way this dress comes to a point with the open lace detail is gorgeous! We got married outdoors at a winery with an outdoor reception and simplistic theme, so I wanted something that matched the event. I had a hard time finding something that was a simplistic as I wanted, yet still bridal and beautiful. Everything was either too "froo-froo" or too simple. The lace detail on the top portion paired with the dreamy, flowy illusion tulle was so feminine and perfect! It also has a sweep train, which gave it some extra whimsy from behind. It has been expertly dry cleaned and restored to good-as-new condition. I loved every second of my day in this dress and hope to send it to a great home!

3 small alterations: 1- some length taken from the bottom (I am 5'8'' and wore flat shoes, dress was still a little too long & dragged the ground- which for the flow bottom & sweep train was very pretty & welcomed) 2- took in the waist about an inch. On wedding day I weighed 136 lbs and my body type is very straight/athletic, not a tiny hourglass waist. 3- took in the halter straps just slightly to pull top up tighter. Maybe a half inch taken off.
