The Dress

This is an unworn, unaltered, entirely clean sample from a high-end bridal shop. It's stunning. Rime Arodaky's description of the Dover is "Fitted dress in crepe and floral embroidered tulle. Pale gold lurex thread." The gold is so pale I never would have thought to describe that way - I'd say the floral pattern embroidered onto the tulle has a slight shine to it in the light. The color is on the whiter side of ivory. The lace truly is to die for - I particularly love how it is attached to the crepe layer only at key seams, so it moves and flows beautifully. It's also very lightweight, thanks to the high quality fabrics.

I'm putting the dress up for sale because I've reevaluated my wedding budget and priorities... it was a tough choice because the dress is so beautiful. But when I stopped and thought about the fact that I'm getting married in the woods in Alaska... maybe I don't NEED to wear French hand-embroidered lace:) My loss is your gain.

I'm a pretty standard US size 6 in brands like Banana Republic, Everlane, Madewell, etc. My measurements are 36, 28, 38.5. Significant alterations wouldn't need to be made for me, except shortening the skirt and taking in the top. The only imperfection is that the elastic for a few of the buttons is a little stretched, as you would expect from being tried on. Easily fixed, though I found it unnoticeable once buttoned up. I can send pictures of me wearing the dress and any other details you'd like to see upon request.
