The Dress

A custom made Mariana Hardwick gown that I am hoping someone else will be able to love as much as I did!

This dress is a combination of the Paige and Addison gowns, resulting in a beautiful, elegant fit. Made from Guipure French Lace in ivory, a contrasting champagne silk underlay ensures that the intricate details of the lace standout. The split up the front of the gown with scalloped lace detailing allows for ease of movement, comfort and shows some leg. I had boning added to the bodice for a smooth and secure finish.

Other details include: white satin buttons on the back of the gown, an invisible zip, satin band around the waist and the skirt comes with both a bustle (great for dancing) and a finger loop to carry the beautiful lace train.

This is a made-to-measure custom gown and while I don’t have the original measurements I was a small size 10, with a B-Cup bust (cups are sewn into gown). I am 158cm in height and wore a 10.5cm heel.

The gown has been professionally dry cleaned by Ferrari Wedding Gown Cleaners (recommended by Mariana Hardwick), at a cost of $500 (certification of cleaning included). The dress is in perfect condition, with no marks or snags on the lace. The dress is in the dry cleaning box for preservation, but I also have the original Mariana Hardwick gown bag to ensure it is protected when hanging.
