The Dress
I have not dry cleaned this dress! The train is dusty on the bottom from where we took the photos. I only wore this dress for the ceremony and photos and first dance. Other than the hem and train dustiness, Laura is in good shape. She is a comfortable and snug fit. When I ordered the dress I opted to not get the beaded belt (you’ll see it in photos of the Laura dress in Rish’s site). I debated removing the delicate lace along the neckline because it’s a bit fickle, I would recommend using tape to keep it in place or take it in.
Alterations
This dress has been altered to add two bustles (one lifts the train just off the ground and the other gives an additional couple inches of room). It also was hemmed to my height in heels. I’m 5’2” and wore 4 inch heels on my wedding day. The straps were taken in and the corset was adjusted for my smaller cup size. The hips were taken out a bit.
