The Dress

Hand-crafted vintage 1950's style with a quirky edge, boned & buttoned corset, discreet sweetheart neckline, mid to low back, polka dots, cute bow, tea length, swing dress- what's not to love!

This dress not only made me feel elegant, unique & totally rock'in it but it was very comfortable, I loved dancing in it, it really swings!!! I wore it in spring, it was a particularly hot day for spring but I felt cool/warm enough throughout the whole day. It felt like a very practical dress, didn't feel restrictive in anyway, I could also take myself to the toilet so I didn't have to gather troops to help me.
I'm in between UK size 10-12. When I originally brought this dress the cup size fitted perfectly but due to my new job I've lost some weight up top so I had to buy & wear a strapless bra as my now size B breasts didn't fill the boned cups, would suit cup size C/D & above if you don't want to wear a bra. No alterations were made. As you can see from photos you couldn't tell I wore a bra. The back is secretly zipped underneath the beautiful delicate buttons. There are 8 layers of material in the skirt, unfortunately there is no inside labels to say what materials the dress is made with or care/cleaning instructions. It's mixed materials. Underneath the 2 top layers of Ivory polka dot lacey like material, is a sheeny/satin like Nude/dark cream colour material, the front bow is also made from the same material.
Unfortunately I did get very small stains on the dress, It has been dry cleaned twice due to these stains but unfortunately they haven't fully come out :( , however they are not visible at all unless you know they are there &/or are fully looking very closely at the dress. One more dry cleaning wash may get them out as the second wash did make a huge difference but I cant guarantee it & neither could the dry cleaners?
My last photo of the dress is a picture of the the biggest stain, as you can see, barely visible but due to the stains I am open to sensible offers from my asking price.

I struggled figuring out this sites measurement's & how to do it, So I have given measurement's from the dress on the hanger. Height of dress being 103cm for both & I'm giving you my personal current measurement's, the dress fits me perfectly (apart from the boned bust issue)

Waist 77cm
Bust 89cm (my bust measurement does not fit the dress, I wore a padded, push up strapless bra to fill it)
Hips 92cm

*If needed- measurements from the boned cup area are 40cm across, each bone underneath each breast area is 23cm.

*Unfortunately I've had major issues uploading the video but if you can view the video, you'll see that all the stains are not noticeable. You have to fully look for them.

*Comes with original tag & some separate polka dot material (which is exactly the same material) to use/make something with, like a small vial or big hair bow, its big enough to even make a small shoal or make the dress with polka dot straps or use it to tie in with something else for your wedding/bridesmaids?
