The Dress

Look 3 by Frahn Bridal—She is captivating from all angles. She is siren-like with her fierce thigh split, unstructured halter, and removable architectural 2-piece waist tie. She is handmade in beautiful crepe and Italian Mikado.

This dress is a custom-made Frahn Bridal for a modern-day bride. I was drawn to the dress immediately by its Marilyn Monroe neckline, combined with the two-piece waist tie, split up the thigh, and completely backless. This was the perfect combination of sexy meets elegance. I also hadn't seen anything like this before which was super appealing to me. I loved that I could detach the two-piece waist tie for a more casual feel on the dancefloor.

The dress was made for my body as a standard Australian size 10; however, I did lose a few kilos before the big day and paid for some simple alterations. I would say this is between an 8-10. The dress is great because you can bring your waist in tighter with the 2-piece waist tie to suit your body on the day.

The dress has been dry-cleaned and steamed and is in a bag ready to go. There is a tiny mark on the bottom of the train, which was incredibly hard to locate when I picked it up from the dry cleaner - you would not be able to find this without closely inspecting it. It won't be noticeable in photos.

Side note - I've measured my height in the shoes I wore on the day :) I'm about 166cm without heels.

Alterations

A simple alteration so it wasn't loose slightly - through the zip and down the hip.
