The Dress

Magical one-of-a-kind Chantel Lauren Mae wedding dress - hand-cut, hand-sewn, and hand-painted in Steel Blue. Ethereal, unique, and extremely comfortable without being heavy or high-maintenance.

I have truly never felt more beautiful in my own skin than I did wearing this gown. I am moving can't bring her with me. It would make me so happy if she got to have another day in the sun!

Features a soft silk bodice in ivory and a three-layer skirt with blue signature nylon tulle, hand-painted organza, and a silver blend charmeuse lining. Custom lace jacket not included.

Since the dress is a former sample, there is mild to moderate discoloration of the straps and underarm area from being tried on.

Alterations

This dress has the following alterations and enhancements:

- Hidden anchors added between the 3 skirt layers so that they lay beautifully every time, no fussy arranging needed

- Nude cups (approx. B to C range) added to the bodice. They look a little funny when the dress is hanging, but the option to go braless is worth it. Cups would also be simple to remove if needed.

- Train-flip bustle that I can only describe as a feat of engineering. Looks just as beautiful bustled as not; train flips under and is gone. A-line silhouette looks the same after bustling.

- Some of the bustle ties are frayed from being stepped on, but all are still functional.

Other alterations:
- Hemmed to my height (5' 3" plus 3-inch heels)
- Taken in ~ 2 sizes
- Straps shortened
