Charlie Brear is a contemporary British wedding dress designer based in London. I had this dress made after trying the sample on in her beautiful London show room. The Harwood dress is part of the iconics bridal collection.

I absolutely love this dress! The moment I tried it on I knew it was the one for me - I felt so elegant and comfortable, and the fabric hangs perfectly. I felt like I could get married then and there! I received so many lovely compliments. I am sad to be selling it, but I knew from the beginning that I would have to.

The gown has deep box pleats at front and back giving a fab flowing skirt, classic look and not restrictive anywhere. It is a very flattering cut and has a short train.

The dress is being kept in the original bag that it was collected in from the boutique and in a smoke-free home. It has been dry cleaned and it is absolutely spotless!

The dress was made in a size 12. I am usually a dress size 10/12. I had it altered to fit at the reputable Bride and Alter in Battersea. The waist was brought in, the skirt was smoothed to flow over my hips and the overall length and strap length were shortened. I am 5ft6in/168cm and wore 3 inch (7.5cm) heels. The dress met the floor comfortably without overly pooling at the bottom or flapping around my ankles. I also has a bustle added to the dress so that the train can be tied up for dancing.
