This gorgeous Daalarna tulle dress was everything I didn't know I wanted. I was searching for a dress that wasn't too bride-like, felt modern and was contemporary in design.
This Daalarna dress is entirely ethereal, featuring 3D flower-like appliques, light-as-air tulle, a deep neckline and equally as low back. By using modern and soft fabric, this dress was extremely light and very easy to move around in.
Comes with two sashes and one belt. I had a belt especially made with the tulle from the skirt, so it would stay wide as opposed to bunching up throughout the day.
I'm 165cm, size 8, 8DD chest. I wore 10cm heels.

Alterations
- I had this dress modified to the extreme to make it more simple, flattering and boho-like
- I had about 80 of the flower appliques removed to create a smaller waistline and hips (reverse v from the waist)
- They were removed in a way that would create shape and flatter my body type
- I also had the hem lifted (I'm 165cm), as well as a tonne of fabric removed from the bust so it wasn't as bulky
- During this process the dressmaker also ensured the bottom layer of silk (against my bust), sat flush to my skin
- Again, we did this to ensure the dress flattered my upper half, and didn't make it appear larger
- I am short and small, so this dress was altered and change slightly to ensure it didn't overwhelm my body
- It was important that I wore the dress and that the dress didn't wear me!
