Jane Yeh, Greta

This was the second dress I tried on and it was love at first sight. I wore it once for my wedding in 2011. It has been professionally dry cleaned (receipt kept) and is in perfect condition. It has been a kept in a dry place, hanging up, waiting to be used again!

Jane Yeh herself also gave me invaluable advice on the style and theme of this dress compared to others in her shop I was looking at.

In her words it is a red carpet wedding dress, rather than a fairy tale wedding dress. This appealed as I'm not a pink fluffy kind of gal. The other attraction for me was the colour. I wanted something a little different, not white. It is champagne gold in colour which looked wonderful with my complexion.

There are 4 rows of champagne gold beads across the V bust line and a beautiful cluster of the same colour beads on the left hip. Also beautiful silk covered buttons all the way down the back so the dress looks just as special form behind as it does from the front (important for the guests at the church!)

It felt glamorous, chic and wonderful to wear. The weight of the soft silk allows it to hang wonderfully but it is not heavy at all.

It was comfortable to wear all day. The train can be easily hooked up to allow you to dance and walk around easily, although I loved having it down, particularly in the church and for photos.

The veil is the same length as the train, and again a cream colour (not white) that matched the dress, with a comb that is pushed into your hair, so it is well hidden.

I felt like a $1,000,000 in this dress, and I have no doubt you will too. Many of our guests commented on how my husband and I looked like we were at the Oscars.

It is a 1 of a kind, the only‚¦Greta dress made in this colour as far as I understand.

My sizes: 10/12, B/C bust, 166 cm tall
It was altered slightly for my size and this was very easy and inexpensive.
