Alterations

  • • Hem taken up (I'm 5"3) although I still have the extra fabric
  • • Padded cups sewn into the bust with a few stitches which can be easily removed
  • I'm a B cup, but with the padding removed it would easily suit a fuller bust
  • • Extra loop added to the skirt so I could bustle it off the ground for dancing, but the original loop is still there so you could use either
  • Loops aren't visible when the skirt is unbustled
  • • Anna Campbell delivers the dress with the straps unattached at the back
  • They've been stitched in to fit me, but can easily be altered to be longer or shorter as needed
  • They haven't been trimmed at all, they just sit inside the back of the dress

I loved this dress so much, and would be so happy to see someone else get as much joy from it as I have! It's so beautiful and feminine, and was easy to move and dance in. The hand beaded bodice is a showstopper, and the slimline chiffon skirt is light and flowing. I loved that it felt really secure but easy to move in, so once it was on I didn't have to give it a second thought all night!

The bone colour is beautiful (a soft silvery grey almost) and looked much warmer and more flattering than the ivory white option. The Anna Campbell photos show the dress in Ivory, so you can see the colour difference.

Size XXS but would suit a 4-10 because of the tie up back (and the strap length can be adjusted easily).
