Lola Varma, Parvia top and Delfina skirt

I absolutely loved this Lola Varma skirt and top! I felt elegant and modern on my wedding day. I chose off-white (as opposed to white) as it flattered my skin tone. Both pieces are 100% Silk Crepe de Chine.

The top was fun and moved so well (especially when walking down the aisle and dancing), and it has a fitted and lightly boned bodice underneath it, so no need to wear a bra (I felt well-supported). It can be worn tucked into the skirt at the front, or out like I had it.

The skirt was comfortable and flattering. The length of the skirt is Standard (as opposed to Tall).

There is an Invisible Hand Loop Detail at the base of the skirt which you can hang off your wrist for dancing.

I am usually a size 12 on the top and bottom. The top is a size 11 as I wanted the bodice to feel extra-secure (which it did). The skirt is size 13 as I wanted to have a little extra room for movement (and for cake – which it did!). Stillwhite doesn’t let me chose half sizes sorry, which is why this is stated as a 12. Both pieces are in excellent condition and have been dry-cleaned (happy to send detailed photos of the dress and/or the dry-cleaning receipt if you wish). The outfit has been hanging up in a clean, non-smoking home since being returned from the dry-cleaners. It comes in the original cotton Lola Varma hanging bag.

There are two minor stains on the train that were unable to come out (please see photo) – one is a green mark approx. 1cm long on the hem of the train, and the other is a very faded white wine stain approx. 5cm long which is located on the end of the train (to identify where this will be on you, measure approx. 120cm from your waist band down the back of your legs). Barely visible.

I bought both pieces for $NZ 4616.16 in May 2018, and our wedding was in November 2018. Happy to send the Lola Varma receipt if you wish to see it. I would prefer to sell both pieces together as the combination is fabulous (unless there are two people wanting one piece each).
