Essence of Australia D2209 Dress in Ivory Lace and Regency Organza over Champagne Gown.

It is a beaded, curve-hugging fit and flare dress from Essense of Australia - the perfect finishing touch to any romantic wedding day! With a soft, sweetheart neckline, this Lace over Regency Organza shows off – and creates – curves (this was what I loved about my dress, the bead placement made the eye move inwards and created a stunning shape for a plus size gal!) Artfully-placed lace and linear beading throughout the gown create shapes, adding a layer of romance to this sweet silhouette. The train of this gown features a scalloped-lace edge, and has a zip closure.

The train on the gown is so stunning - not to long and not to short. You could wear a long veil or a short one and let the train do the work. I wanted that extra dramatic look so went for a long one!

I have had my dress dry cleaned and it's in good/great condition. In pictures shown, there are marks where your armpit sits over the dress (from my spray tan) but not at all obvious once the dress is on and the odd little mark on the train from our adventures on the mountain where we did our reveal- again not noticeable once the dress is on. There is a very small tear in the top lace at the lower side of the dress - not noticeable and no bigger than 1cm.

NB - the shoulder necklace is not included in the price or attached to the dress.

Deeper 'V' was created on the sweetheart shape to showcase a fuller bust (at my husbands request!)
Size 18 purchased and altered slightly to loosen around the hips by taking the underskirt out which made the dress into an in-between size of an 18-20 Measurments are:
Bust: 109cm
Waist: 90cm
Hip: 118cm
I spent $800 on alterations and $210 on dry cleaning
I am 5ft 4" and had heels on that were 3" high
There is spare lace that I did not use which is included
