Maggie Sottero Edwina - BRAND NEW & VERY RARE - UK 8 (- 10?)

For sale is my beautiful, unaltered Maggie Sottero Edwina dress in Ivory (NOT to be confused with Edwina Marie). Due to a change of circumstances, it has never been worn, except for taking these photos.

This dress seems to be very rare (try Googling it!)... in fact, when I bought it, there was absolutely nowhere in the UK that stocked it, meaning I had to order it in from the USA.

The skirt may look crinkled in the photos - it is supposed to, as it's made from a crushed taffeta. I chose the dress for this very reason to suit a Rustic / English Country style wedding. It has, however has been in storage for a couple of years, so there may be a few extras creases that need steaming out. The gathers also need steaming into the right place (so they lay like the photo from manufacturer, again see google), but I was told this would need to be done anyway when I bought it from the dress boutique.

The bodice is covered in Swarovski embellished, vintage style lace and has a corset back. Although it’s officially a size 8, I should think it would fit a size 10 also. The flower embellishment is movable, but looks best placed where the bodice sash meets the skirt. The skirt has quite a few layers, some of which are beautifully finished with lace edging, and I have the additional petticoat to go with it.

Colour-wise, it’s a nice rich ivory (i.e. not to pale), but it's not as dark as it appears in the manufacturer's photo.

I am willing to consider sensible offers on the price stated and happy to supply more pictures to anyone who is interested.
