Essense of Australia, D2451

Gorgeous! Essence of Australia Lace Beaded Wedding Dress in Ivory and Moscato (a blush tone).

This lace wedding dress is by the designer Essence of Australia. It is called the “Layered Lace Wedding Dress,” style number D2451. This dress does have the optional beading and pearls!

This dress has been altered, but there is at least 2” of fabric (1” on each side) that would allow it to be taken back out from right above the waist, to where the dress flares out. This would add at least a size or possibly two.

The dress retailed for $1899.

This dress has a deep sweetheart neckline, with a sheer mesh piece in the deep “v,” and boning structure to shape the bodice. The dress is beautifully adorned with beading and ivory pearls.

The bodice portion of the dress has two distinguishing designs. The bust part is two layers: the bottom layer is moscato (a blush tone) satin, overlain with sheer lace. Under the bust, and the entire back of the dress is sheer, detailed lace.

The high-waisted skirt portion of the dress has three layers: the bottom layer is moscato satin, the next layer is an ivory “spider-web” (see pictures) intricate French lace design, and the outer layer is detailed ivory embroidered lace. The hem of the dress completed with scalloped lace.

The dress has a very beautiful illusion train, where the moscato layer stops and the two lace layers continue. The dress has a bustle, which I pictured, but it may need to be done again professionally.

The top part of the back of the dress has fabric covered buttons over the sheer design. The remaining back zips up beneath the fabric covered buttons.

This dress was originally a “wedding dress” size 10, but it has been altered. It is now a wedding dress size 10 in the bust, and a size 6 in the waist. It has also been very slightly shortened. I am 5’7” and wore 2” heels with the dress. I put wedding dress in quotation marks because wedding dress sizes are much different than normal clothing sizes!!! Just for reference, my measurements are 36-27-35. I wear a size 2-4 in pants and usually a medium in shirts because of my wide rib cage.

The dress is still on its original bag. I have the tags and the replacement stones that came with the dress. All though no stones have come off, you would have the replacement ones just in case.

In addition I will include the “petticoat” I wore under the dress to fluff it out. It will fit accordingly to the dress size measurements.

Note**** The dress has been professionally cleaned since being used, and is being safely stored in its original bag.
