Elegant and flattering ballgown in ivory duchess satin. It has a retro couture look, with a high collar at the back and a deep v-neck at the front with satin covered buttons and large bow at the waist. There is an inner elasticated waistband to cinch in your waist and the fabric holds you beautifully without the need for a bra. A full skirt with train, also has pockets (hidden in the side seam so not visible) and the fabric moves beautifully with you. The halter shape to the neckline, fitted bodice with cinched in waist and full flowing skirt gives an amazing silloutte. It has a classic simplicity which is flattering but not overpowering.

As with most brides, I lost weight before the wedding so had the bodice taken in from a size 12 to a size 10
The dress comes in set lengths so I also had it altered to my height with heels (5'3" plus 4" heels, so a total of 5'7" or 170.18cm)
