About the Dress

Reem Acra - The Prophet Collection - Flock of Angels

Everyone says it is their "dream dress" and it certainly was, I received so many compliments that no one had ever seen a dress quite like this, incredibly classic, yet modern - made for the South of France.

The Wedding: I was married August 2019 in St. Jean Cap Ferrat, France a wonderful outdoor wedding in the gardens overlooking the ocean. I wanted a dress fitting of this amazing location.

Wear: The dress has only been worn once and yes, was hand carried by me both to/from France. It was worn from 5:30pm to 12:30am on that night and was not utilized for dancing, etc.

Dress Purchased Details: The dress was purchased at Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier in NYC, for which they directly did all alterations and the bustling of the dress (informal silk ties)- which can be utilized as appropriate. The fee for alterations on top of the retail price was $1,250.

How I felt: The dress was very comfortable and flattering. I loved the high slit in the front which allowed for a fun shoe and a bit of breathing given this was worn in the summer heat. The material is substantial yet light so could be utilized for weddings in both summer/winter.
