This stunning handmade dress by extremely talented Melbourne designer Vasiliki Couture was inspired by designers such as Pallas Couture and Berta.

I wanted a modern, sophisticated yet sexy look with the low-cut sweetheart neck line.

I am usually around a size 10 although I lost weight coming up to the wedding (as every bride does!) So, I would say this stunning dress is an 8-10 AUS size.

The stunning fabric was purchased from d'Italia in Malvern. Of course, I have expensive taste and ended up with the newest and most expensive styles!

The boned fitted bodice is made from a stunning beaded French silk lace. The design of the beaded silk is modern, and this is what caught my eye. Purchased from the same warehouse in France where Pallas Couture gets her material from. So, the feel of the dress is of utmost high quality. The designer used applique (lace is hand cut and sewed onto the bodice). To create a sexier look, I had the cleavage line quite low with a skin color mesh to hold it together. I am small busted usually a size 12A. The designer added some great padding (which can also be removed). No bra was needed on the day.

The fitted high waisted skirt is made from Scuba which is a very similar fabric to a Crepe as this is what I originally wanted. Scuba was a higher end thicker version (in a way). Was extremely flattering on the figure. There was also a beautiful liner. The Scuba was thick but not too hot to wear. I got married in Bali and it was perfect! The designer also applied appliqué at the front and also the lower back outlining the white buttons.

The trail has a cut out section were the beaded silk was appliqued on for a bit of sparkle.

Super comfortable to wear on the day, I loved this dress! Sad to sell it but I have no plans to wear again and we just bought our first home.

This dress has been professionally dry cleaned. No stains even on the trail.

I also have a big bag of offcuts of each of the fabrics used, so if you wanted to add sleeves or need to adjust the size you can.
