The Vera Wang Ethel gown is stunning, glamorous and sophisticated. I was looking for a gorgeous fitted dress that accentuated my figure yet also gave me that once in a lifetime bridal look and feel. This dress definitely has the 'WOW' factor and made be feel so beautiful on my wedding day.

The Ethel is an incredible gown with a draped ruched bodice with button detailing in the back, made of a new Stretch Silk Mikado fabric, a lustrous and flattering fabric that doesn't have the harsh glare of satin in flash pictures. Each swirling tissue organza flange of the mermaid skirt is hand-cut giving it a romantic look that is incredibly beautiful, modern and sophisticated. My dress was so comfortable, very light and easy to dance in too. I wore the dress with an embellished sash and veil both purchased from Helen Rodrigues (the sash and veil are not included in the sale)

My size: 4US gown fit me perfectly. I am 5'8 and a standard size: 6/8 (AU) but the gown can fit one size up or down thanks to the stretch silk mikado!
NO ALTERATIONS have been made to my gown, only slight adjustments to the length. This gown has been professionally dry cleaned and is in perfect condition. It has only been worn once on my wedding day in May 2012.
