About the Dress

Purchased this dress for $2,300 for our beach wedding in April this year. I knew exactly what I wanted but couldn't find this style anywhere within my price-range so got it custom made. High neck at the front, low back, fit and flare with a medium train. It's a nice combination of elegant, but not too formal, shapely but not super sexy, fitted but amazingly comfortable and just a fun dress to spend the day/night in. With the right accessories and styling it would be a really versatile dress and suit a number of different wedding settings - church, garden, beach etc.

I am usually a size 10, have a size b/c bust and am 168cm tall (but wore 5inch heels). This dress was custom made but can be easily tailored to fit a smaller size. It's made from french lace and has a nice lining. I didn't wear a bra with this and felt fully supported the entire day and dancing all night into the early hours of the morning. It has a hidden hook to hitch the train up for ease of walking and dancing.

The dress is in really good condition – however I did walk on the beach and in the water so it got a little dirty. However I just picked it up from the dry cleaners and other at than some minor discolouration on the inside of the bottom of the dress, it is in perfect condition.

Would be a great buy for any summer bride looking for a bargain. Happy for people to come and try it on or see it in person in either Whakatane or Edgecumbe.
