Alterations
- I am 5’8” and wore 6cm heeled boots so I had the hem taken up slightly
- The gown is a size 12 as it was the best fit on my hips but the bust was fitted and brought in to fit the following measurements: bust 87cm, under bust 79cm
- I bought a size 10 slip so it was snug under the gown and then altered the bust of the gown to fit
- We also added a bustle so you can hitch up the train
- The tags have been removed so the dress will lay flat against the skin while worn but I’ve keep the tags so you can be assured that this is a genuine Rue de Seine gown
- Please keep in mind that the slip is a size 10 and the gown is a size 12
- If the size of the slip is an issue, a new slip could be ordered from Rue de Seine, made for a minimal cost or altered
