The Dress

This dress is wonderful! Size AU and UK 6-8 (US size 2-4). Includes a fluffy ivory shawl and hair piece.

A little different, a little boho, but classy. Slit up one side of the underlay, a little leg. The dress hugs the body beautifully and has a nice bit of give (stretch). I wore it for both our wedding registration in Germany and commitment ceremony in Australia. The dress is now in Australia. The colour is ivory/white lace on champagne. Train can be pinned up. One amazing benefit of this dress is that it doesn't seem to crease! Transporting it overseas wasn't a problem at all! This is a big benefit when buying a dress that will likely need to be posted. Hassle-free dress really and waiting for the next special event!

All layers of the dress feel soft and the lace is intricate. If looking very closely, there is a little fraying in some areas of the lace due to cutting too close during production, and there is a difference in the lace colour and texture at the top compared to that which was used at the bottom on the train. This is something only you would notice, but I wanted to point out that I have noticed a bit of a discrepency. There is a tiny black spot on the underneath of the underlay, only visible if you are looking from underneath. No damage (no dancing at our weddings, just photos, ceremony and lunch).

Purchased from the US and imported into Germany. New dress is around US$1100 plus postage.

My size is an Aussie size 6-8 in dresses, often a size AU 7-8 in tops, and AU 7-8 in pants. This is the same as UK sizes. Bra size is Victoria's Secret 32D... but I think D is a little generous! More like a B-C cup size. Hence the padding that I had tailored in (no need to wear a bra with the dress). When I had the padding put in, I thought it was in a bit of a strange location, but it looked well shaped when side on and from the top.
