About the Dress

This stunning dress is from Jane Hill’s SS19 Moroccan Rose collection. I wore it in for our October wedding and it was an absolute dream to wear. The fully beaded gown was so flattering and comfortable, I didn’t have to give it a single thought on the day, was able to move and dance with ease. Though beaded, it wasn’t overly heavy, I found the weight to be quite “grounding” and a comfort.

The dress is in near perfect condition. The dry cleaner could find no makeup or real dirt on it anywhere, and couldn’t believe we had been married outside! It has a dry cleaners certificate from the reputable Syndal’s Bridal Drycleaners, Armadale.

The dress is simply divine. I had many guests commenting that it was the most stunning wedding dress they’d ever seen, and I have never felt more beautiful than I did wearing this special dress. For outdoor weddings, the beads also glistened beautifully in the sun.

I had some nude B size cups attached for a bit of padding and extra modesty, and a double-hook bustle attached (and hidden) on the inside to securely fasten the lining and train.

I am 178cm tall, and wore a 9.5cm heel. The front of the dress fell just short of the floor, so there would definitely be room for a shorter bride (or smaller heel!) to wear the dress without alteration.
