Alterations

  • It was made as a size 10 however the bodice was altered to a 6 but measurements are only an estimate
  • An extra internal Velcro strip was added so it could be pulled tight and stay in place all day (but this can be removed)
  • It originally came with sleeves and a belt however these were removed
  • There was nothing done to the length
  • A five point bustle was sewn in so the wide train could be pulled off the ground ready for dancing
  • It has been dry cleaned and is in good condition
  • The beauty of a wedding dress is that you can get them fitted to you, so it is yours- and this dress can be too
  • I paid $3,500 for the dress including the stunning veil and a flexible wedding hoop- all of which I am happy to include for you

About the Dress

I initially tried on this dress as a joke to amuse my mother-in-law to be. With all the tulle and colours- I just wanted a simple white dress. I did not prepare myself for when I looked in the mirror. I came out from the fitting room and my mum, mother-in-law and sister-in-law cried. This was the one. I want someone else to have that feeling. I am not a princess, nor did I want a princess dress but I had the feeling of a woodlands princess with sparkles twinkling all around me and it was glorious. I would want for nothing more than this beautiful dress go to a bride-to-be who will receive the same feeling.

This dress sounds simple- floor length, white, sweetheart neckline, princess cut- but it is so much than that. It has such beautiful detail of amazing and delicate coloured florals in burgundies, corals, pinks and greens that lift slightly from the bodice and trickle into the flowing tulle. A dress with colour, but oh so subtly- and it goes incredibly with the colours of the bridesmaid dresses and flower bouquets! It has the lowest back you can find on a strapless gown with a lovely V-shape design and a beautiful wide train surrounding the dress at the back. It is truly unlike any wedding dress you have seen before and every guest commented sincerely that they had never seen anything like it.


This dress is filled with so much love from the day and it’s whole journey, so it has good vibes oozing out of it.
