I love the lace and tulle contrast on this dress with the fabulous Swarovski diamond buttons at the back. The colour I wrote as 'ivory' as it isn't white but at times not truly ivory - it's a beautiful shade that can look very slightly pink in some lights. I think it was described as cappuccino or latte; though these names do not give it justice. Lots of people commented on the beautiful softness to the colour. It has been altered to suit my petite build and 5ft 2 height. I felt SO comfortable and free in it all day; it felt beautiful. A huge dress and train just wasn't for me - but this gave me the BIG dress feel without feeling at all swamped. It really is a stunning dress.

Alterations

The train was removed along with a couple of layers (still around 9 remaining!) and shortened for me as I'm only just 5 foot 2 inches
I loved the look of the two fabrics with the lace and tulle but didn't want the full on BIG dress when I am a petite stature
I also didn't like the diamante belt, so my seamstress unpicked that part leaving a lovely simple plain band, which just separated the top part of the dress from the lower half, beautifully
