Stunning mikado silk modified mermaid dress.

The label size in this is US10 which is the equivalent of about an Australian size 12-14. I dropped 15kg between buying this dress and my wedding day and it has been altered to fit an Australian 8-10. I have DD breasts so this was the best way to do it to ensure I didnt look like I was going to pop out the top. My gown was purchased at the Vera Wang boutique in Sydney and altered by the only authorised Vera Wang alteration specialist in Australia, Joanna at Sew Special in Sydney CBD. I have an authenticity certificate for my gown also. Joanna assures me that the dress can be returned to its original size or altered down further.

I LOVED wearing this dress, I always dreamed of getting married in Vera Wang and trust me, there is nothing quite like it!

I fell in love with another Vera Wang dress long before I met my husband but when I tried it on (7 times!!), it never looked right on me. Eventually I said 'let me try on something that is everything I said I didnt want and they handed me this, strapless, satin, fitted, belted dress and it took my breath away. I burst into tears and would have happily worn it at my pre-wedding weight. I felt like a total princess!

I purchased my VW Bubble Veil ($250) and swarovski crystal VW Chelsea Sash ($1360) separately to wear with this and these items are not for sale. The sash that comes with the gown is ivory grosgrain ribbon and I used this to bind my bouquet. Vera Wang sashes (in a variety of colours) can be bought separately from Vera Wang boutique or you can add your own.
