This is most beautiful and comfortable silk chiffon wedding dress - designed and made in Australia by the talented Lola Varma!
The Lotta gown was only released in 2019 and the design is incredibly unique.

I purchased a size 11 size but physically went down to a 10 before the wedding - perfect for either size due to the adjustable belt. Refer also to the designers sizing; https://www.lolavarma.com/sizing/

The bottom of the dress is beautifully lined and fitted to your hips with a zipper at the lower back. It fans out slightly at the base to create a small train. The top of the dress is the most luxurious fabric that has wonderful floaty sleeves which you can pull up or down depending on preference. And the back has delicate velvet ties/bows down the centre for a feminine touch. There is also a simple hook on the skirt to wear around your wrist (especially good for the first dance!)

I also wore the dress with the Milja belt that complements the dress beautifully and I will include in the dress purchase.

Since our wedding in March 2020, the dress has been professionally dry-cleaned and stored in the original garment bag in a smoke-free, dry home. It has minor marks to the hem of the lining only from the rain and some minimal fraying to the silk hem. Happy to send pictures on request. Otherwise in perfect condition! NOTE: Veil not included

  • I have taken the hem up slightly in length
  • I'm 165cm tall and my heels were 8.5cm high
  • I also shifted the clip in the belt as I lost a bit of weight but this can easily be readjusted depending on your waist measurements
  • There is also a stitch where the fabric crosses over your chest which can also be easily readjusted depending on how much skin you want to show!
