Look 1 from the Oscar de la renta spring 2019 collection has been made with love combining masterful embroidery with 3-D blooms, fern and vine embroidery strategically arranged on the semi-sheer dress, creating a more ethereal feel than a provocative one.

This dress has been worn once - for my Covid 19 elopement/wedding photo shoot in March 2020. Given current restrictions we had a very small celebration and photo shoot- it has been only worn for that.

It was a magical dress- so light and floaty and breezy to wear, but so perfectly tailored to stay in place. The sheer mesh rises to the collar bones, and is so light you couldn’t even see it was there. Perfect for dancing all night long and knowing everything will stay in place!

There is some tearing to the inner layers of tulle at the bottom of the skirt obtained when walking in heels, reflected by the reduced price.

I am 169cm tall, and wore 8cm heels. The length of this dress has not been altered. If you were shorter and wanted to take it up, this would remove most of the damage to the mesh at the bottom of the dress.

No alterations were made to the sizing either - I tried on in the David Jones Sydney bridal boutique and it fit perfectly. I had originally had a Berta Muse dress in mind until I saw this 😍
