Strapless

This dress is a one of a kind custom made dress from Sally Eagle Bridal.

It is a size 6 with a 10c bra cup sown into it (which can easily be removed) but which helps hold the dress on and I did not need to use any body tape on the day.

The dress is strapless and tight fitting until it reaches the middle of your waist - from there it falls freely to the ground with layers of Tull to add a little bit of volume. The top of the dress around the bust is covered in quite a soft lace for texture and has a white ribbon around the front of the waist with a bow at the back.

The dress zips on, but has a row of white button to add to that bridal look. It has a little bit of a train, but nothing that causes much hassle on the day and there is a little hook to pull this up if needed.

The main inspiration for this dress is that I wanted something pretty and elegant, but that wasn't too extravagant. The shape of it means it is very sliming, while still having the fun of having all those layers in the skirt!

I had a wonderful day wearing this dress, I never had to worry about getting it creased or it loosing it's shape, I danced all night and felt incredibly like a princess with all the layers of Tull around me, but without dealing with the bulk of a more poofy dress.

Someone told me when your looking for your wedding dress, you have to choose how you want to feel on the day, I wanted to feel fun and beautiful and very much like a bride - and this dress achieved all of that for me! I hope you love it as much I did!
