Sincerity Bridal, 3730

This ivory coloured Sincerity dress is a beautiful, unique vintage-inspired wedding dress. Purchased in London, it features a flattering lace and tulle Sabrina neckline with scalloped edging. The back sweeps down into an elegant open V-back creating a great contrast to the higher front. Gorgeous satin buttons extend down the back of the dress and cover the zip. The subtle beading incorporated with the lace gives the dress a beautiful depth when it catches the light which looks great in photos.

The dress is perfectly balanced with a chapel length train giving you the feeling of a proper wedding dress without being too heavy. All along the bottom of the dress is scalloped lace edging and beaded lace appliques which create an amazing look when fanned out (as in photo 2). It is described as a mermaid shape on the dressmaker's website but it is more like a very flattering soft A-line.

The chiffon banding just under the bust creates amazing waist definition. There is also an adjustable built in corset which is wonderful for giving you a good shape and also means there is no need for a bra. The train to the dress is able to be bustled up for dancing.

I bought it as a UK size 10 which I think in this brand is slightly smaller than an average 10. I had it professionally taken in slightly at the sides to fit me so I would say it is more like a size 8 or 9. To give you an even clearer idea, my measurements are chest 33.5, waist 25.5, hips 38.5. Also I'm 172cm and wore 3cm heels. As with most new wedding dresses it had to be shortened slightly. I'm taller than average so you'll likely be able to adjust it to suit your own height - much easier to take it up than to try to add length!!

I purchased this dress new in London from London Bride Boutique and brought it back with me to New Zealand when we went home for our wedding. Fortunately our wedding day was sunny and dry meaning the dress stayed in very good condition. It has been professionally dry cleaned by a wedding dress specialist in Auckland and has no marks on it. The only thing to mention is the bottom lace scalloping has been slightly frayed in some places which is barely noticeable. I tried to show this in photo 4 but it's quite hard to see in the picture. I have accounted for the dry cleaning cost in the asking price for the dress.

I absolutely loved this dress. I wanted something slightly different to the classic wedding dresses while still feeling like a proper bride. I had many comments from guests on how amazing the dress was. It definitely needs to have another outing!
