The dress is a size 16 ivory dress (seems white to me but the tag says ivory) fit for a princess. When I got the dress I was wearing size 18 or size 20 pants. There is intricate beading all the way around the corset and the skirt is layered organza with beautiful embellished embroidery throughout. I chose to add beaded cap sleeves to the dress but they are optional. The dress was comfortable for a wedding dress. I did wear a corset bra and petticoat underneath the dress.
Alterations: 3 point bustle. (there is a tiny tear in the upper organza due to the bustle loop wearing out. Should be an easy fix.) Bustle has ivory pearl points. Hook and loops were inserted for optional cap sleeves. No other alterations were made.
Cleaning: I purchased the professional cleaning package offered at David's Bridal with the Preservation kit and the dress is still sealed in the box since it was professionally cleaned post wedding.
Dress was only worn once for my wedding August 2013.
