The Dress

I got this dress because I have a mad love for plants and I love the lace motif for a garden theme. #cippa

The lace is uniquely designed by local designer Helen Constance. You won’t find anyone else with the same design as she doesn’t make many pieces of the same design and she won’t producing this again. Don’t have to worry about a bride you know wearing the same gown.

The dress is made with layers of tulle so the skirt is light weight and you can easily twirl around in it. It also has a bustle so you can pin up the train. There’s a video of me walking around in it on the designer’s Instagram page.

The dress also has customised functional hidden pockets on the sides. It makes picking up the dress to walk so much more elegant, plus you can keep little things in there like lipstick, hair pins and even your phone.

The dress comes with a matching single layer tulle veil.

Dress is in pristine condition. It has been professionally dry cleaned by the designer, wrapped in acid free paper and put in a storage box (worth $880). The gown was $3,830. Total: $4,710 spent.

I haven’t taken the dress out of the storage box since it’s been packed after dry cleaning.

I am size AU6-8. The dress has been altered for my height. I am 1.6m tall and was wearing 10cm heels on the day.
