Essense of Australia

A flattering, comfortable and easily worn Essence of Australia bespoke lace wedding gown. It photographed so beautifully, and I am still getting compliments about my dress six months later!

I am looking to pass on this beautiful dress to a new bride who will get as much joy (and positive feedback) as I had on the day.

This dress strikes a fine balance between traditional and easy-to wear elegance, with a sheer bodice that made it smooth to transition from a more formal park ceremony into fun evening wear.

It has a flattering V-neckline with fabric edging that extends into sheer straps, accentuating your face. There are bust cups which provide some needed lift as well as modesty. The back features a deep V, mirroring the front of the dress, that add a little sex-appeal, then zips up beneath fabric-covered buttons. The dress comes with a detachable satin belt – which I wore – as it helps tie together the sheer bodice and the lined skirt (however, there are no belt loops, so easily worn without). The skirt features embroidered latticework mixed with bold lace motifs, creating a completely-unique pattern that extends through the length of the gown. It has a neutral, skin coloured underlay beneath skirt and a small one to two-foot train, which photographed so well.

My height without shoes is 175cm and I wore 1inch kitten heels. Dress is fitted through to the hips, was quite snug and supportive around breasts, but slipped easily over my tummy and hips, so gave good shape but with room to move freely.

The dress is realistically a size 10 to 12, but I had the bodice taken in to a size 8 to 10 as I am smaller busted. Hips remain size 10 to 12.

As I say, am hoping to pass on this dress to someone who will get the same joy I received. And have priced it so hopefully so it goes home quickly with someone who will love it.
