The Dress

This is and will always be my dream wedding gown. It was the first dress i tried on and i fell in love with every aspect of the Gemma. From the colour, the way it sat, all the detailing on the bottom of the dress AND the tail of the dress is amazing!!! the sequins really do make the dress, in my wedding photos you can see it glisten and it makes such a big difference. I chose the blush over the ivory sequins because in blush the details of the organza and rosettes stood out much more and it just showed off the dress in all the right angles. It was an absolute dream to wear and it was such a beautiful dress in so many ways. I would love for the gown to go to another bride who will love the dress as much as me.

I am 162 cm tall and wore 11cm heels on the day. I had the dress altered with cups by Joanna at Sew Special in the City ( Vera Wang sydney boutique sent my dress there and Joanna is their recommended tailor in sydney - she was excellent i would only recommend her to do any needed alterations to the gown, she truly is the best and was so nice throughout the whole process). The alterations can be undone if needed and back to original sizing. I purchased my dress from the Sydney Vera Wang boutique store.The dress is currently been organised to be dry cleaned by Silver Bridal Service Sydney ( Vera Wang Sydneys recommended Dry cleaner). It will be cleaned, pressed and preserved by the company.

I got married in September 2014 and took absolute care with my dress on the day. As a result there are no stains and the dress is in near new condition. There are no visible marks or discolouration on the actual dress, it looks just as new even though i had worn it for my wedding.
