Carla Zampatti, Pearl Lace La Belle Opaque

This Carla Zampatti gown was the most unique wedding dress I had ever come across. We had a beach wedding and I never imagined myself in a dress that was super traditional, so once I came across this I knew nothing would ever compare.

The gown is shorter at the front that at the back, so it makes it easy to walk and it means that when you walk the dress flows beautifully (as you can see from my photo’s!). It is high necked, with cut out sleeves which make the look very contemporary. The gown has absolutely no boning and so is super comfortable. The dress is made from beautiful lace embroidery and a very light silk taffeta. It a very light cream colour, looking almost white in the sun, but then darker depending on the lighting.

I had the dress altered to fit me perfectly, and so some beautiful touches were added (pearl buttons up the back complementing the cut out in the back) and the flower on the front of the dress was redesigned to suit the dress better. If you live in Victoria I can point you to the dressmaker I used (she was absolutely fantastic) otherwise I’m 100% sure other minor alterations will be able to be made by any other skilled dressmaker.

I'm happy to post Australia wide or send more images if you wish. Viewings are also welcome however trying on will be limited as the dress has been fully dry cleaned and I want the dress to be in the best condition for the new owner.

It breaks my heart to sell this dress as it made me feel so beautiful, but I would love to see it go to a good home and make someone else's wedding day so special too.
