The Dress

Custom made by Australia's very own, the amazing, Steven Khalil - this piece of art will make eyes water and jaws drop. Worn a month ago, like true couture, this gown is made from high quality lace, superior layers of tulle and a modest amount of beads and crystals.

This gown is strapless, with a fishtail silhouette, zip up design with a sweetheart neckline. It features traditional lace (to keep Grandma happy) and modern tulle (to keep you happy). The fishtail shaped gown hugs the torso perfectly to create an hourglass finish body – it is fitted with boning. Featuring a nude boned corset to ensure that the bodice sits up all day and holds you comfortably. The hand beaded crystals and pearls on the bust sparkle with life while the delicate ivory floral lace ensures a classy look with a hint of glamour.

The floral lace continues down to the beginning of the soft tulle skirt. It is a full skirt - no hoop skirt/walking skirt required - with a long trail that has a hook if wishing to pin up or hold. The stunning skirt features layers and layers of soft tulle, flowing out to a thick train towards the end. Doesn't matter if you're tall or short - with the tulle, your feet will be covered. The lovely low back is held together by a zipper, giving true romance to the dress - no cheap ties and buttons. Structured cups in the bust ensures there is no need for extra support to spoil the immaculate design.

The attention to detail is outstanding - the looks I received from strangers amazed by the dress made me feel like a queen. The dress itself is a masterpiece and Steven's attention to detail truly shows in the gown and his work is nothing less than immaculate. This breathtaking dress stunned my guests and the amount of compliments I received and still receive is overwhelming.

This gown was made to an AU size 8. I am 170cm tall and a standard Australian 6-8. Measurements are (approximately): Waist: 62cm, Hips:79cm, Train: 2 meters.

I wish I could keep this dress forever however, I do not have the space to keep it and hope that another bride can love the dress as much I did (and still do). This dress has NOT been dry cleaned and is housed in a plain white dustbag. Veil is not included and not for sale - this is my little piece from my special day that I've decided to keep. I'm happy to assist with interstate buyers, so don't feel limited if you live outside of Queensland. I haven't received professional photos however I have included some photos of the dress on the day (taken on an iPhone) and the other images I've taken tonight in the dress for your reference. For genuinely interested brides, this gown can be viewed only, at my parents house upon request.
