Elegant, traditional-style Ronald Joyce 'Philippa' dress and matching cathedral length lace veil.

This beautiful dress has 3/4 length sleeves with a dramatic open back, lace and pearl detail and a short, mermaid-style train. It comes with a cathedral length veil with delicate lace detail which matches the dress. There is an internal bodice which makes it very comfortable to wear and enables adjustment to the perfect fit. It is fitted through the bodice and down to the hips which is very flattering. Just below the hips, the skirt fills out into a short train, I wore it with a hoop underskirt (not included) which makes it very easy to walk in. There is a small loop on the train which secured the skirts up for later in the evening when you want to dance! The skirt is full but not heavy - it feels fabulous and so elegant to wear.

I bought it brand new and have only worn it once. I have had it dry cleaned and preserved recently. The size was originally a size 10 but I had it taken in slightly from the waist and hips. In terms of length, I am 5 foot 6 and wore it with 2.5 inch heels and it falls perfectly straight at the front to just above the floor, which a short train at the back.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress, it made me feel very special and was very comfortable and flattering to the figure. I wanted a dress that was traditional but didn't make me feel too old. The lace and pearly detail is very delicate and the open back and fitted, mermaid-style skirt was a lovely compliment to the high neckline and sleeves.
