- Fully lined with stretch lining
- Stretch fit with centre back zip closure
This gown looks like a structured, tailored wedding dress but by beading the sequins onto a bias cut skirt these dresses have flexibility in the fit and will accommodate many different body shapes. Because of the flexibility of the fit, this should reduce the amount of alteration work required to tailor the dress to your liking. The weight of the sequins allows the dress to skim the body in a figure flattering way.
I had so many compliments on it and loved wearing it!!only lightly worn as married during covid with restrictions so no dancing and not worn for full day.
I have not got it dry cleaned which is why I am asking for a slightly lower price although the dress is in literally excellent condition There are faint signs of wear on the inside of bottom lining-all of which will wash out with dry cleaning.
The dress has more life in it, and I'd love someone else to wear it. Send me an offer 😊

Alterations

  • I took the waist of the dress out a little-I just wanted more room for eating and it slightly less fitted! My seamstress also put in piece in the neckline so it wasn't so low
  • This can be easily removed
  • The length was taken up
  • I am 5 ft 6 and wore 2 inch shoes
  • The belt of the original dress tied into a ribbon at the back but I had this cut and just had the belt so it fastened at the back
  • The seamstress also put tiny fasteners in the shoulder to secure it to a bra and fasteners in the cups so it could click into my bra also (all can be easily removed)
