About the Dress

I absolutely fell in love with this dress the moment I put it on and it made me feel fabulous. I loved its classic simplicity and chose to add a vintage-inspired belt for some extra bling.

The dove satin is so soft and it is extremely comfortable to wear. I loved the way it sat off my shoulders and had the plunging neckline which was very flattering and with the boning this meant I didn't need to worry about wearing a bra. My absolute favourite feature that 100% sold me on this dress was the hidden pockets. I was able to carry my phone with me throughout the night to whip out for quick selfies and tissues for the ceremony. I chose to wear it with a single hoop underneath for added volume and ease when walking.

It has been altered: shortened slightly and a bustle added to the back of the skirt. The bustling is extremely easy, the skirt simply hooks up onto one of the buttons down the back of the skirt so no need to worry about complicated ties or multiple hook-up points. Bodice wasn't altered as it was a perfect fit but was told a lace-up back could be added if required.

Has been professionally dry cleaned, and has come up sparkling, not a mark in sight. Stored in the original bag and has been kept hanging up. The belt was removed for dry cleaning to ensure it wasn't damaged but can be stitched back on.
