Satin Faced Organza Gown with Illusion Piece - White by Vera Wang

This dress was just enough 'princess' for me, simply elegant. I didn't want a huge cinderella ball gown but I did want a little volume and small train. The A-line style with the lace detailing was perfect and removing the illusion piece for the ceremony to create two different looks was fun. I mean when else do you get to be a princess for a day?

Strapless satin-faced organza A-line gown with hand-appliqued lace and illusion piece.
Shown with illusion sleeved piece worn underneath bodice (included). Alternatively wear over top with a sash around waist.
Illusion piece is removable to transform into a strapless gown after the ceremony.
Hand-cut re-embroidered lace on the dress makes each dress a one-of-a-kind design.
For extra volume, add a full slip (like I did) and/or a dramatic horsehair sash (as per designer photo), or choose a grosgrain sash for a sweet, preppy look.
Modern cathedral-length train (72 from waist). Fully lined. Color, ivory. Back zip. Dry clean only.

US size 0 / Aus size 6 - I normally wear a size 6 in this style.
To fit: bust 32 / waist 25.5 / low hip 35.5 / length 61
Length was professionally altered as too long - my height is 160cms and I wore 4inch heels.

The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned and stored in a bag and box for about 18 months. Instead of keeping it I have decided someone else should enjoy it as much as I did. You would obviously have it pressed before your special day.
