I have finally decided to sell my beloved Wedding Dress (hoping to move house now we have had a baby!)
I fell in love with this dress in a wedding magazine and hunted down the designer Enzoani at a trunk show at a local dress shop. I went into the shop and literally asked for this one gown - the McKinley - and refused the helpful assistants offer to try any other dresses … as I just knew this would be the one.
All I can say is from the moment I put this dress on… I literally never wanted to take it off. It’s a thick layered stretch georgette material so it’s super flattering and the train is just stunning. We got married abroad in Marbella and it was just perfect for our abroad wedding as the extensive, yet somehow subtle, beading just shimmered in the sunshine.
I had this custom made so the top half is more for a UK 8 and the bottom half is a UK 10 (as I have hips and a bum!)
This dress is in fantastic condition (no rips/tears/holes) but it could do with one more recent dry clean (was dry cleaned back in 2018 and been in a box since) as there’s a few very faint faded yellow marks at the bottom if you look close but definitely could be removed and it’s creased up a tad where it’s been in its box.
I truly hope this dress brings another bride the happiness it did to me.
