I purchased from still white and absolutely love this dress, devastated that the fit is just not right on my hips . Here are the notes from the previous seller who did wear it.
I wore Grace Loves Lace's Pearl in March 2015 and couldn't have been happier with the choice I made for my wedding dress.
I have quite a small figure, and the dress beautifully complimented my body shape - it was slightly 'racey' with the short lace above the knee, but tasteful because of the sheer parts that covered my legs, arms and neckline.
The lace on this dress is hand-cut and just exquisite. I am a florist, and couldn't get enough of my dress because the lace and sheer made it look like I was only wearing flowers. The colour of the lace is white, however the sheer skin-coloured mesh gives the dress an overall ivory look.
The lace around the ankles and wrists mean that you don't need to overly accessorise - I just wore skin-coloured Funkis clogs, big vintage turquoise earrings and a second-hand chapel-length white veil.
The gown has a low, unique-shaped back with small buttons. The dress also sits beautifully off the shoulder. As you can see, the mesh stretches across the neckline in a very under-stated way. I also put a little fashion tape under the dress on my shoulders on the day, just to be sure that it would sit the way I wanted it to.
The dress is incredibly comfortable to wear and has an in-built slip under-neath the main body of lace. I wore the dress without a bra, but if you wanted more shape you could wear it with a stick-on bra.
My dress was made to order in XXS. Exact measurements are below. Upon receiving the dress, I made a few alterations. I took in the dress another 2cm on the side (under my arms). The dress also originally had little lace cap-sleeves. I found that these stuck out on an angle a little too much for my liking, so I had them removed.
Dress has been dry-cleaned and comes as new, in Grace Loves Lace box. Grace Loves Lace discontinued this style of dress in May 2015, however if you type 'Pearl' into Google you will be able to see some pics in 'Images'.
