I have included pics from my wedding as my photos really don’t do the dress justice. This is a two piece and the a-line skirt has an organza layer. I’m 5ft 9 and wore small heels and the skirt reached the floor but has a hook on the underside so you can wear it on your wrist. The top is a corset bodice which can be adjusted to fit, depending on your waist/bust size. I also purchased an organza sheer shawl to wear with the dress instead of a veil.
The dress is by Lucy Lin at Berkatex although they no longer trade. The dress was purchased in 2003 and was dry cleaned straight after the wedding. It has been stored in a special wedding box with tissue paper and is still in excellent condition. It has some minor marks on the hem of the dress but these are not noticeable when wearing it.
I’m not a dress type of woman but when I put on this classically elegant dress I felt a million dollars! The whole outfit cost £1400 nearly 20 years ago but the dress is simple and timeless in its design.
