About the Dress

This is an absolutely stunning hand-made wedding gown by Mira Mandic, in Double Bay. It is a customised version of their Ivy dress.

Mira Mandic designs are Breathtaking, Sexy, Elegant and Beautiful. I loved their whole range but once I tried on a few, I completely fell in Love with this One. I wanted to wear a gown I hadn't seen before, something classy but unusual. This dress was more than I could have hoped for and I felt amazing in it on the day.

The dress is very light and incredibly comfortable. The top half is sheer French lace with a second skin colour layer underneath the French lace which makes it far less see through than it appears. The bottom half of the dress has three layers, two Italian silk satin with the softest georgette overlay on top. It has a medium size train which hooks up beautifully for dancing.

I am 162cm and wore 11cm heels. The dress has only been worn on the one occasion in Nov 2014 and has been professionally dry cleaned.
