I think your platform is very fair. A set price to list and you allow the buyer/seller to let them negotiate things on their own. the person who bought my dress was looking for this particular dress and they lived somewhat locally - so we met up at a neutral spot.

Size 12 Melissa Sweet wedding dress style #MS251223. This is a beautiful and very flattering trumpet style with a "bisque" (dark champagne) liner and light ivory lace overlays with 3D leaves and vines. The colour is soft and subtle in natural light. The dress was worn once and was professionally dry cleaned.

The top of dress was altered but nothing major
The straps were taken in a bit at the top - I would guess less than an inch
Bras cups were added though they can be easily be removed
On the backside they took it in about 7/8 of an inch on either side of the zipper but they did not cut the fabric so it could be moved back out or in more
NO alternations made to the length of the dress
I am 5'10' and with kitten heels it was perfect
I added a bustle that you can see in a photo
the attachment point is small, blends in with the dress when unbustled
