Great idea however some brides don’t respond which makes things hard and you may have to walk away from the gown you want. Didn't like how national and international sellers are on the one page but over all was easy to source my dress glad that stress is over.

A breathtaking mermaid gown that comes to life in glittering, three-dimensional flowers that crystalize along the plunge neckline, gather at the waist, and cascade down a skirt delicately dotted with streams of threaded embroidery.

This Aethra (unlined) Pronovias dress is a bridal size 2 and was purchased brand new from Raffaele Cuica in Melbourne. It has been worn only once.

The dress was professionally dry cleaned. I can ship the dress in its preservation box with acid free tissue paper. Includes original tags and spare buttons / beads provided when purchased. I can also include for free some matching capped sleeves that I didn't end up wearing on the day.

All of the alternations (other than alterations to the length of the dress) were done in a way that did not remove any fabric from the dress, and can be reversed / undone if you require.

Alterations

  • Length has been hemmed to suit my height
  • Invisible snap button attachments were added to the top front and back parts of the dress for matching capped sleeves which I didn't end up wearing on the day, will include these for free
  • The attachments are hidden so if you don't use them you won't notice
  • Bust: some of the sheer fabric around the V bust area has been taken in to better suit my bust shape (no fabric was removed from this part so the alterations here can be taken back out)
  • In the centre back part of the dress:
  • around the bottom of the buttons was taken in to better fit around my bum
  • below the bum area was taken in to create more of a flare look
  • (again no fabric was removed from this part so the alterations here can be taken back out)
  • Bustles were also added: one bustle for the lace and a separate bustle for the lining
