I got married in Hawaii on New Years eve, so I wanted a dress that was relaxed and beachy, but also with little New Years Eve flare. No easy task! I fell in love with this beauty in SF’s trendiest bridal store- Loho Bride. It was the perfect combination of boho meets glamour and I felt absolutely stunning in it on my wedding day. The dress is an off white silk and georgette gown with a hand beaded embellished top layer of silver and pale gold thread, pearl coloured sequins, faux pearls and stones.

I felt beautiful and classy during the ceremony and comfortable and sexy during the reception. You will adore this dress!

I altered the dress to be more flattering to the body by adding an open back with silk cord criss-cross straps and also fitting the bottom layer of the skirt to contour the body. (While the chiffon floats on top to soften the look.) The master seamstress actually hand-beaded the back to match exactly the original beading. I also added light pads to the top so that I could easily go without a bra. These could be easily be removed if you like.

Measurements: bust 34", waist 27", hips 38" (The straps would be easily altered to fit another bust size.)
Orignial cost: Bought ($3500) directly from Australian designer and paid for shipping to US
Alterations ($1000):
~ Opened back to base of spine and added fine silk cord straps.
~ Custom hand beaded bodice (to connect front and back beaded overlay.)
~ Fitted the inner silk layer to the contour body, while the top silk crepe laid softly over the skirt.

I am selling this very lightly worn dress for the reduced price of $1500!

Preservation Method: Dry cleaned and stored in a garment bag since January 2015 only.
