The Story

This dress is the ROSA CLARA UBEDA dress from her Soft Collection 2014. Rosa Clara wedding dresses are defined by using modern designs with a hint of tradition, creating a beautiful masterpiece for your special day. The dress comes as a silk underlay slip and a hand-beaded tulle overlay, which takes up to six months to create by hand in Spain. There is only one bridal boutique in Australia that supplies this particular dress from Rosa Clara and currently retails at $3500 + alterations.

This dress is a Size 8, but due to its design it would fit up to a small size 10. My measurements at the final fitting were bust (35 inch), waist (27 inch) and hip (39 inch) and the dress fitted perfectly, where the only alteration required was the hem. I am 177cm tall and was wearing 8.5cm heels which could be seen when walking. The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned with new hanging loops replaced on both the slip & overlay.
